Jack O' Lantern Nail Art
Hi there, I'm Ishah from Ishah x Beauty :)
I am happy to be able to do a guest post for Jeanie and I hope you enjoy what I have for you!
As Halloween is coming up, I wanted to try out some fun and easy nail art and the first thing that popped into my mind was Jack O' Lantern Nails! So here is my attempt at putting the Halloween Pumpkin on my tips :) I used 2 coats of L'Oreal Boozy Brunch and a black nail art polish to draw the faces in. You don't have to get everything perfect, since you're trying to emulate the carved pumpkin and I know mine sure don't ever come out perfect :p Finish with a coat of top coat, but make sure you wait for the faces to dry a bit so you don't end up smearing them.
It's easy, fun and perfectly screams Halloween! The only pumpkin I could find was a blue one (my two boys have a blue obsession) but you get the idea...
I'm already super excited for Halloween, although I haven't decided on a costume yet. But all the awesome nail art and makeup looks make the lead up to October 31st so much fun.
Ishah x Beauty
Thank you so much Ishah for the guest post! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! You did a great job. Please show Ishah some love by leaving a comment below. I will be back to blogging soon and I still have a few more guest posts I will show you in between my blog posts. Thanks for your patience! xoxo Jeanie

Extend-A-Mani by Sheila at Pointless Cafe
♥
Hi everyone! If you don't know me already, I'm Sheila from Pointless Cafe...pinch-hitting for Jeanie today!
My Extend-A-Mani posts have been popular so I thought I'd show you guys my latest one. Being the lazy sort (I could have said "busy woman on the go," but we all know I'm just lazy sometimes LOL) I frequently do simple nail art to extend my current manicure.
I was wearing Nails Inc. Tate, which is a luscious blue-based red...
Okay FINE. I was wearing Nails Inc. Tate AND enjoying a yummy cupcake. I wear this one so frequently that I didn't get any other photos of it so you'll just have to look at the cupcake. *evilgrin* The tip wear isn't bad at all on my left hand, but it's a little worse on the right, so it was time to extend it.
I used Zoya Flynn and Milani Black Swift (my go-to black creme) for this one.
Using the polish brush I just swiped free-handed swaths of each one diagonally and then with a striping brush I added the extra black stripe. One coat of Poshe top coat and I was good to go! Covers the tip wear, doesn't subject my hands to any more acetone than necessary and it's a good way for me to practice little easy nail art techniques. As you can see in the close-up, it's not perfect, but at arm's length it's fantastic.
What do you think? Will you try this one? Works with any colors!
Thanks to Jeanie for allowing me to do a guest post for you guys! Have a FABULOUS WEEK!
♥
Thank you so much Sheila for helping me through some difficult times and getting back to blogging. Keep your eyes open for more guest posts from some of my other blogger friends! Hope you enjoy them and please show some love and leave a comment!
