Mirenesse Cosmetics June 2013 Subscription Beauty Box

As you know by now, I love my beauty box subscriptions.  I recently just became aware of the VIP Mirenesse Box from Australia and thought I would give it a try.  From what I understand Mirenesse is one of Australia's top beauty brands.  It is a little more expensive to get it shipped to the USA, but as long as it's quality products and they are worth the cost, I don't mind.  Of course it takes a little longer to get, I think this is June's box and I've had it for a week or so.  You have 3 choices, all cosmetics, all skincare or a combination box.  I chose the all cosmetics.

From Top to Bottom, L-R  Studio Magic BB Coverall Multicorrection Palette, 10th Anniversary Forever Diamonds Powder, Lip Balm Glossy Stain Lacquer and Auto Eye/Lip Liner Duet.

The Mirenesse 10th Anniversary Forever Diamonds Powder - Retail $44.96 , this is a light-weight translucent finishing powder that also reduces your pores and leaves you with a flawless finish.  I haven't tried this yet.  I've not even put on a full face of makeup since Cosmoprof.  But it looks a feels great swatched on my arm.  Will review this in a separate post along with the other products.

This says it is a limited edition.

Studio Magic BB Coverall Colour Palette #2 - Retail $53.95.  I'm looking forward to trying this concealer palette as I do have different needs in different areas of my face.  It does come with it's own applicators, a sponge and small brush.

Auto Eye/Lip Liner Duet - Retail $31.50.  I think i will really enjoy this, one pencil...dual use.  The Lip Liner is in Rose Flirt and the Eye Liner is in Ebony.

Glossy Lacquer Stain Lip Bomb in Pink #4 - Retail $35.10  This feels so good on my lips and the color lasts.  I didn't time it, but longer than most and it is very pigmented!

L-R, Auto Eye/Lip Liner Duet in Ebony/Rose Flirt and Lip Bomb Glossy Stain Lacquer in Pink #4.

I really am enjoying my first VIP box from Mirenesse.com.  It is $26 per month which includes shipping from Australia, I think residents of Australia pay $15 per month.  They are always running some kind of special and right now on their website it says 70% off everything.  I haven't tried putting anything in my cart yet, but I just may :)

What do you think about the products?  Have you tried them before or will you in the future?

Cosmoprof North America - Day 3

Day 3 of Cosmoprof North America 2013 was a little shorter but still just as busy.  The first stop was at the Milani/Jordana booth.  I have more pictures of their new/latest releases and also some new reviews to do.  I love their huge displays.

Milani Cosmetics

Jordana Cosmetics

Next stop was at Layla Cosmetics and received exciting news about their Gel Effect and Pro line.

LCN is a brand that I will be keeping my eye on this year.  I heard from the owners of this German made polish lots of exciting news.  They gifted me with the LCN Limited Edition Mercedes Benz Nail Polish Collection and a new Magic Nail Growth mini to try.

Stopping by the BH Cosmetics Booth was great.  I learned all about the latest products, which most are under $20.

Next was Miss Jessie's Hair Care where Miko and Tito took me through the history of Miss Jessie's products and went through the new products and how to use them.

Swoon is a new product.  It's Founder Keisha Wright explained how to use the product to get the lipgloss that is always left at the bottom of a tube and lost forever.  Twenty percent of gloss is left in the tube because the applicator can not reach it, Swoon solves that problem.
Doucce Cosmetics has only been in the US for only 3 months but is not new, it has been in Dubai for 7 years now.  You can purchase online for now and they hope to be branded in the US soon.

This concludes the 3 Day wrap up.  I learned so many new things, met a lot of brand owners and PR Reps and learned more about the products there than I could have learned otherwise.  It was an enjoyable time all around.  I have a lot of products that I will be reviewing, interviews to recap and will post them as fast as I can. Until then, here's next year's info for Cosmoprof North America 2014.  I hope to see you there!

Wantable August 2013 Subscription Beauty Box

I am in LOVE! with Wantable.com's Monthly Subscription Box.  This is my 2nd one and have been pleased both times.  This month was curated by Matthew Ambrosio.  I love the fact that you get to pick what kind of products you want to receive, that way there's usually no disappointments.

In this months box, I received (L-R) Face Stockholm Nail Polish #168 - Retail $12, Whip Hand Lip Hit in Frenzy - Retail $20, Face Stockholm Brow Shadow in Myrrah - Retail $24, Japonesque Angled Foundation Brush - Retail $25 and a sample size of Echo Vie All Natural Lip Balm.

Japonesque Angled Foundation Brush - I love receiving products like this!

Face Stockholm Brow Shadow in Myrrah
Face Stockholm Nail Polish #168
Echo Vie All Natural Lip Balm

Face Stockholm Brow Shadow in Myrrah - I made a mistake in applying this, I thought it was eyeshadow, so forgive the uneven application, it really is a pretty color and applies great on your brows.

Echo Vie All Natural Lip Balm - As you can see this is a light natural looking color, it has very little fragrance and it does have a slight mint flavor that gives your lips a little tingle.

Echo Vie All Natural Lip Balm

Face Stockholm Nail Polish #168 - This is a more purple leaning cream polish that my camera could not pick up the true shade.  This polish applies like butter and this is two thin coats with no top coat, so you can see the natural shine it has.

Boxes are available for one time at $40 or a monthly subscription for $36 at Wantable.com.  You can choose from two types of boxes, either Makeup or Accessories.  This months box has a value of $86 and the sample of Echo Vie.  I think it's totally worth $36 and I will use every item in this box.  You should check out the list of brands that are available in the subscription boxes.

Have you tried one of the Wantable Subscription Boxes or will you in the future?  What boxes do you subscribe to and can recommend for me to review in the future?

I received a 2nd box this month, my mistake!  But I kept it...read why I kept it and about Wantable's return policy and great customer service.

Cosmoprof North America 2013 - Day 2

Hi Everyone,

Day 2 of Cosmoprof North America 2013 was a very busy one.  I will write individual posts on almost every brand I visited and reviewing for and my Interviews with Zoya, Dita Von Teese and other celebrities and brand owners.

It was amazing that I got to spend quality time twice with Zoya, she is a very sweet, intelligent and amazing woman.  I have 3 new Zoya collections to share with you and maybe a small giveaway to do too.

This was before my interview with Roni Josef, owner of Obliphica, John Blain, famous hair stylist and Dita Von Teese, famous Burlesque Dancer who also has her own line of cosmetics, perfumes, lingerie and so much more.  You can see the press was on them like crazy (and this was only a part of them), but I had my own interview with them.  I will also review the Obliphica Hair Care line and let you know the secret of what makes it work so well.

Click the READ MORE button to see the rest of our exciting day!

Orly had a Celebration for the Creator Jeff Pink, who also created the French Manicure.  I learned how Mr. Pink started 38 years ago, what/who inspired him to name his product Orly and to what it's become today.  I'll will also share with you all the new collections coming out and maybe have a small giveaway.

Morgan Taylor is a new Nail Lacquer line started by 2 sisters that are Daughters from the Gelish Creator.  I will have lots of reviews from this new line and tell you a little more about the Sisters who started it.

With Gel Mani's becoming more popular and more readily available to the public to do their own at home.  I learned a lot about them from Gelish and will bring you some step by step tutorials and also their newest neon colors coming out.

Nubar has been one of my favorite polish lines since I got heavily back into polish about 3 years ago.  This is one of their new collections Alter Ego.  I will have more new collections and reviews for you soon.

Color Club and Ruby Wing have so many new and exciting collections coming out.  I have pictures so far and will also bring you reviews since I am a part of their Blogger Club.

Another new line of Nail Lacquers is Precision.  This creator knows her stuff and has many new collections out that I will review and share with you!

Palladio Herbal & Vitamin Enriched Cosmetics are professional, but sold in Sally Beauty Suppy and are very reasonably priced.  They have a huge collection to chose from.  While I was there visiting with International Makeup Artist Ramon, he gave me tips and tried a few products on me.  Will bring you the reviews and pictures soon.

I had no idea that L.A. Colors and L.A.Girl were so big!  It took them an hour or more to show and tell me about all their products.  I will bring you more pictures and info in a new post and also reviews of some of the newer products.

Essie people were very secretive and would not let me take pictures...but I did get 20 minutes with  their Guy who was over the Gel products, sadly they aren't available to the public.

City Color was another drug store brand that shocked me in the variety of products they actually sell.  I had only seen just a few like nail polishes in the stores.

Blue Cross Products produces the Blue Cross Cuticle Remover that so many people rave about.  Also, their products include Island Girl (only sold in Vegas and Hawaii), Savina Nail Polish, the snowmen and pumpkin polishes sold in drug stores.

This concludes the condensed version of Day 2 at Cosmoprof.  It was very busy and tiring but I can't wait to do it again next year!

    Cosmoprof North America 2013 - Day 1

    Hi Everyone!

I am back from Cosmoprof North America 2013, and had a blast!  It was so big and I have so many things to tell you about that I'm splitting it up into the 3 days of coverage and individual reviews on many brands products and services.  This was my first CPNA.  Even though I had been told how big it was, you just can't even imagine and you have to see it for yourself!

Once inside, I was greeted with this beautiful huge tile hanging.

Click the Read More button below!

The first place I stopped was the new Beautique Display.  I love the reasoning behind this new feature at Cosmoprof.  More about this in a separate post.

Then, I had an appointment with American Industries which includes many brands like China Glaze, Ardell Lashes, Seche, Gigi, It's So Easy and many more.  (Several separate posts will be done.)  I have so many new products I can go ahead and share with you and a few that I can't just yet, but you will love them all.

Here's a picture of me getting fake eyelashes put on at the Ardell Lash Bar.  I received a new set each of the 3 days.  I have never worn them before but I will from now on.

Next I met with Barielle and their representative Claudia.  We were able to see the new collections coming out and I can't wait to share those with you!

Next meeting was with Jessica Cosmetics and their next collections are breathtaking.  I also met Jessica Vartoughian herself and have a great picture to share with you in my posts.

Dare to Wear/LeChat Nails is a new product to me and I learned so much from my time with them, as soon as I get samples, I will review them and let you know what my thoughts are on them.

Also met with many Cosmetic companies like NYX, they had a huge booth full of displays.  I will be reviewing many products for them too.

theBalm is also fairly new to me, I have 1 or 2 products that I've received in subscription boxes, but can't wait to try more of their products.

A newer company called FOG Cosmetics offers many different palette choices, you will be amazed at the stylish and beautiful compacts that you have to choose from.  And the smaller palettes are removable so you can switch compacts.  Of course, more on this product in another post.

Stopped by the Royal and Langnickel booth and took a few pictures and left my card with them.  They have several brush sets that I'd love to try out from the Gem Collection.

Amika is a new company that uses 15 times more Vitamin C in their product than present in an orange.  I'm sure you will be hearing a lot more about this brand in the future.

I stopped by the Rock Your Hair booth.  I'm already reviewing their products and love them, but it was nice to meet the people behind this great products.  The packaging they use with the heart shaped rhinestones are just beautiful.

Another appointment was with Age Beautiful Hair product which I am very interested in.  They are owned by Zotos and I was amazed at how many products they have that I'm already familiar with.

I dropped in this little booth that sells to other companies products like cosmetic applicators.  I just loved the retractable beauty sponges that looked like lipstick containers.

Someone was being treated to an eye lash extension product from Cherry Blooms of Australia that works like mascara but looks like fake eyelashes.

Another booth I stopped by was the Solone Cosmetics booth.  The packaging was so cute!

At some point in the long day, I received temporary glitter tattoos from The Body Art Professional booth.  I'll show you which tattoo I received and let you know if it held up to their claims.

Another booth I stopped by was called Toni Ties.  They make the cute little hair ties that don't pull your hair or fall out easily, which I love.  Now they are making no slip, no pain headbands!

Last, but certainly not least and actually one of the highlights of the whole show was a Meet and Greet with Zoya herself!!!  On day two, I actually got to sit down with Zoya and interview her for about an hour.  I will have pictures and highlights of the interview coming up soon.  This is a post you will not want to miss.

This concludes Day 1 of @CosmoprofNA.  Remember to check back for Day 2 and 3 and individual posts on most of the brands that we visited.
