BirchBox - June 2012

Just wanted to show you what I got in my Birchbox this month.  I had cancelled it for a few months but started it back 2 months ago and glad I did.  Birchbox is a monthly subscription service for $10.  Sometimes you get full sized products or generous sample sized products, usually higher end products which is good to try before you buy.

It's always nicely packaged.

On the left is the Clark's Botanicals Ultra Rich Lip Tint in 03 Madge

Mauve, loved the feeling on my lips, not tacky at all.   On the right

is theBalm Stainiac in Beauty Queen, can be used on Lips or Cheeks.

This is a stain, and while I personally loved it for my lips, I don't think

I would try it on my cheeks, it stained my hand for 2 days.

Guest Post - Blue Water-Marble Mani from Patricia at Southern Sister Polish

Hi all you Midnight Manicurists ^_^ Jeanie let me come over and join y'all for the night! ^_^ Thanks for having me Jeanie! ok so I'm sharing a water-marble I did recently. I started with two coats of Essie Barefoot in Blue. Then I got to water-marbling. I paired Barefoot in Blue with my favorite blue that I own O.P.I. Yoga-ta Get this Blue! That a dear friend gave me <3 (I dipped my pinkie and ring finger together and my index and middle finger together...so they would have a blooming flower look) With my pinkie and ring fingers I started my bulls eye with BiB and ended with BiB ...and for my middle and index fingers I started and ended with YGtB.  My thumb I was playing around and did a couple of double drips in the mix...here are the pictures..

And I wasn't done after that I decided it needed a little sparkle so I took Northern Lights Hologram Top Coat (in silver) and put that on...I thought it needed a touch of sparkle!
